2nd Firm Your Fanny Session

I've just completed my 2nd session from the Firm Your Fanny series from Self magazine (which I talked about in this post.)

It took me about 20 minutes to complete and it was easy to fit into my day considering all you need to complete it is a pair of hand weights.  My kids had just started to watch Madagascar and I just stayed right with them and did my workout while I watched it with them.  I'll be honest though, it is a tough workout and you really need to push through to make it to the end!

A couple of tips:
  • remember to breathe
  • keep your abs tight to support your back
  • use your muscles, not momentum
Listen ~ it's only a 2 week workout 3 times a week ~ so that's only 6 times that you have to do it! Apparently you will see results by the end, which remains to be seen.  I will say that I am a bit sore from the other day, but not the "omg, I can't even walk" sore.  It's more like a "wow, this might be working!" sore...
